We were delighted both with the helpfulness of Alexandra's reception & with the cleanliness and comfort of the accommodation. Our room was very spacious and had a clear view to the sea and the small port; there were supermarkets, bakeries & tavernas all within a ten-minute walk. A short walk uphill brings you to the temple of Aphaia. A direct ferry service to Peiraeus was already running, mostly twice a day. In April, Aghia Marina was very quiet, which suited us perfectly!

We liked the relaxed atmosphere and the size and shape of the pool.
The water in the pool wasn´t clear, the system didn´t work satisfactorily because the overflow wasn´t used - water level too low so the water never cleaned and got semitransparent. No bad smell though. We wanted a family room but that wasn´t available so we booked 2 double rooms (more expensive and one across the street - wonderful pool!). When we got there we saw the room was a 4 bed family room.

Room was large. Had a small kitchen and the air conditioning worked well.Had a balcony and wasn't too far into town. Bus stop was at the door.
No tv reception, no shower screen or curtain, no staff to contact, no internet unless you went into the street. No top sheet for the bed. Would recommend this hotel if these things were fixed. It was a good room otherwise.

The apartments are modern and well equipped, double glazed doors make it very quiet, a/c, nice balconies with bay views. The lovely Alexandra was very helpful and ensured we had everything we needed. It's a short walk to crystal clear deep swimming water off rocks, or to the gently shelving sand beach at the other end of the bay. There are plenty of nearby tavernas with great Greek food and cheap house wine and a nice 'English' pub for a change. There are a couple of bakeries and supermarkets for self-catering essentials.
The pool was plastic sheet lined rather than tiled, and the water was slightly cloudy, but this is a very minor criticism.

the apartment was one of the nicest we have stayed in, it was of a high standard with everything in it,eg,hair dryer, air conditioning, kettle, coffee maker, mosquito plug in,washing up liquid, butter ,(in spotless fridge),coffee, suger , clothes pegs, it was great, the two girls,ALAXANDRA andMADGA ,who run the complex and are sisters were so accommodating and made it their priority to each and every person that you enjoyed your stay and nothing was a problem that could not be sorted.
